Before and After the 3-day, 4-hour Ketamine Infusion
March 6, 2009

A 34-year-old female has suffered chronic pain in the lower extremities for over four year. The symptoms have spread to include the left upper extremity but not the face. She has a history of Lymes Disease. Following the 3-day, 4-hour ketamine infusion the patient reported improved function of her upper and lower extremities, which is consistent with the improvement in pain thresholds (below). The patient was stable during the ketamine infusions without any hallucinations. Post-procedure nausea and vomiting was treated effectively with Zolfran.
